Is it normal to call your husband daddy?

I recently started calling my husband daddy. It started as a joke but it kind of turns me on. I don't mean it like he's my dad. To me, a daddy is an older man who protects you, takes care of you, teaches you things and runs the household. My husband is all of that to me.

He says it's weird and seems wrong when I say it to him, but when I say things like "thank you, daddy" or whisper "fuck me, daddy" in bed, I can tell part of him is excited by it. It excites me too, maybe because it is kind of taboo?

Am I a freak, or do you know people who do this too?

Not openly discussed but super normal and more common than you'd think. 'Daddy' is merely a label assigning dominance to your husband. (Even though you're not all sub :) Expect a whole avalanche of crazies raining judgement on you for asking this highly contentious question. In fact being on this site has made me realise how truly freaky I actually am lol. Just own it and enjoy the journey with your husband. It's all role play for fun after all

It's a very normal and good thing. The key to any successful marriage is that you make him feel more masculine and he makes you feel more feminine.
