Is it normal to call it a 'blowjob' when the main action involves 'sucking'?

Theories abound, but I'm going with the fact that "blow" used to be common slang for ejaculating. A prostitute would be hired to do the job of getting the guy to blow.

I have read that the term comes from blowzy which was supposedly slag for prostitute in the 1800's. But I have never seen anything, outside of an explanation for the word blowjob, where this term is used to mean prostitute so I don't know if it is true or an urban legend. It does make sense though, because the word blowzy basically means a course, dirty, unkempt woman. So, I can see that being slang for prostitute. Also, though I have never seen the word blowzy used to mean prostitute, have seen it used to describe them, as in "She is a blowzy prostitute."

In any event, the point is that if this is correct, the "blow" in blow job has nothing to do with blowing.

I heard the act was originally called a below job for obvious reasons. Blow job would become the slang term of the same meaning.
