Is it normal to call foods by different names on purpose

Is it normal I call food by weird names that are similar to the originals but slightly different e g calling pringles kringles or tomato tommatty or cucumber cuke or cheese chessu?

    I do this too sometimes(cocoa=coperds, chicken=chicoon). I also do this with objects as well(Carts=cyarts, ipod=iperd).
