Is it normal to blush extremely when i'm near my friend?

Sometimes when I arrange to meet my friend, I blush when I meet her sometimes I get too afraid to tell her about how I feel. I just want to say it but I feel embarrassed to tell her.

I just don't know what to do next.

    Just tell her. Then you'd at least know if she feels the same towards you, being you say it'll be OK if she doesn't feel the same way back.

          I looked at her response and she had said yes.

          However I shouldn't get invested in it too much I was once told.

          That something was wanting to go out with her and she said yes. It was a feeling I hid from her for over the past 3 months.

          And I finally said it to her to a point now I feel proud to have said it.
