Is it normal to block boyfriend from fb because he had never add me as "friend"

We have been together for over 3 years, met 6 years ago thru myspace, both closed account afterwards (at least I did). We both have Fb although I had sent him messages (not in the last year since I gave up) however he had never send me a friend request and has his page private, I can't see any info. Should I just add him to the block list so that he can't even see my page since obviously he doesnt want to be my "friend". He had check my page before because he told me. This way we are "even", is this silly of me or do I have my good reasons to do it. Since FB has nothing to do with our relation and now I know for sure he will always have me in the dark. I am 38 and he is 51.

    This sounds like an extremely petty dispute. Unless you have other problems in your relationship this doesn't mean anything, and if you do have other problems in your relationship you should be focusing on them not some silly Facebook thing.

    Did you ever request him? If you did and he didn't confirm you, he could be hiding something. Maybe you should talk to him about it.

    I'd be asking what he has to hide! People
    Say face books petty, and maybe it is, but really, why not have you on there? Is be asking questions. If he has no secrets then it should be no big deal for you to see it

    Why would you even be with a person like this guy? Don't block him on Facebook just dump him! In my humble opinion it sounds like he has a secret life he's trying to hide from you. Seriously, Why are you wasting your time?
