Is it normal to become flustered by people in general?

At least once every couple of weeks I will run into certain situations where I can't help but to think, wow ...people are extremely difficult. All the different personalities, trying to stay cordial with people at work, dealing with strangers like store employees. Even keeping up positive relationships is work and can become stressful for me. I'm not saying I'm a saint to deal with but I feel like I just simply can't handle it sometimes, like I want to climb under a rock and live there forever.

Is this normal?

Over the last couple of months I have worked 50 hours a week in customer service and it has tested me a bit, so I know what you're saying. I found I got really short with people, my patience wore down and I was less polite. I've cut my hours down.
Everything in life is balance and if you find the right balance it will come naturally to you and you will comfortably be able to go with the flow and not put any thought or duress into it.

This makes a lot of sense. I have 3 different part time jobs and full time graduate school. I guess I should cut something out.

What Holzman_67 said, although finding that balance can sometimes be a test in itself as you may have to let go of something that you like doing but is essentially damaging or creating an unbalance. Usually these thing are only short term fixes for an unbalanced life such as drugs or sex, your will power will be put to the test but your long term happiness will be the reward.

It helps me sometimes to think of my interactions as simulations.
