Is it normal to become extremely sad after a famous person i admire dies?

Ok, here goes. So, it seems I've always had a problem with my emotions. My biggest problem is getting sad of the most distant things. For example, when a celebrity i like dies, i get very depressed. A perfect example is Paul Bearer from WWE. He died recently (Tuesday the 5th i think), and i've gone into a long sprial of sadness since. I liked the man. He was my favorite wrestling personality, and i looked up to him. I can't believe he's dead. Anyway, i guess what i'm asking is, is it normal to be so damn emotional?

95% of people would cry if justin beiber where to jump off a building. Reply to this if you are on of the 5% who have 3D glasses on and are yelling "DO,A BACKFLIP!".

No not really. Unless you are upset about not seeing the show anymore. I don't see what the deal with celeberties is. It is not like you actually know these people. They do nothing for you. Yet people will fall in love with them, chase them, and so on. I mean sure this might get you hooked up with one of them possibly. If you never get with them though why do you even care? They are nothing to you! NOTHING IN THE SLIGHTEST! Sure it is sad but unless you got invited to the funeral not a lot to cry over.

The reason I voted no is that you mentioned that the death a celebrity caused you to spiral into sadness, and you get depressed at the death of a celebrity. When someone you idolized and looked up to passes away, it's normal to feel sad and grieve, but the death of someone distant shouldn't send you into a deep depression. Perhaps you could share these feelings with a counselor. I just worry that if the death of someone distant affects you so strongly, that you may not be able to handle a close loss. That's my only concern, but I don't know you, maybe you have experienced close loss, if so, disregard my comment.
