Is it normal to be white and like church's chicken?

Every time I go to Church's, I'm the only white guy there. I see very few commercials on the TV which suggest that anyone other than black people eat there, and it was a black coworker of mine that suggested that I should eat there instead of KFC. I see why people eat there; it's definitely better than KFC, maybe even Popeye's, and while I have no problem going to Church's to get chicken now and again, whenever I mention it to other white people in my area, they look at me like I've got a few screws lose. Is it truly such a strange thing, to have pale skin and hunger for fried chicken of the Church's persuasion?

I'm asian and I fuckin love fried chicken. I bought some to eat as a snack before dinner on Saturday, mmmmm. My babygirl cat stole a bone and ran off.

So I'm surprised people are giving you such a hard time on this. It's a legitimate question and may depend on location. I happen to have only seen Church's Chicken in areas primarily inhabited by black people and have also wondered why they aren't located commonly in white people areas too like KFC is.

I'm white, and the only fast food fried chicken I eat is either Popeye's or Church's. Kentucky fried chicken is crap, and I don't eat it.

I don't understand why this question should be asked. If anything, the people giving YOU questioning looks (if they're judging you by your skin color) are fools.

Any person who believes in racial stereotypes is a fool to me. No, it's not strange nor abnormal for any race to like a certain food, despite derogatory or nonsensical racial stereotypes.

I'm also positive that you're not the only white person who buys Chicken from there. Whenever I (a black woman) have went through (to simply buy biscuits. I don't like chicken), I have seen plenty of white people buying it.

Food shouldn't be segregated. It's universal. However, Fried Chicken is a food that has become synonymous as being "black people food". Part of it is culture and the other part is marketing. Fried Chicken commercials used to show people of other races. Now all they show is black people. I'll admit that I used to fear eating/making fried chicken because, of it's associations (and I'm part black!). I didn't want anyone to know! It's sad and I'm sorry that you're being treated this way.
