Is it normal to be turned down from a girl and struggling with new ones?

I was falling for this girl when she was studying abroad in france, then she came back before our quarter started and we did some fun day trips to cities. Im into adventurous girls, but when school started she didnt have time to hang out bc she had to spend literally all of her time studying to get straight As. Now here I am still liking this girl. We hook up every couple weeks, but I'm just here stuck from moving on bc I always think that I shouldnt give up even though I know there are plenty of other girls that I would rather be with. I just dont like missed opportunities and giving up isnt my strong suit. Its been a quarter (3 months) of school and nothing has changed. Did I mention that I dont like wasting precious time in college?!
