My boyfriend and I are deeply in love. I can't even describe it. Sometimes when we look into each others eyes, once in a while it scares me. I've never felt this close to anyone before but I don't understand why I would get a scared feeling like that? Has anyone have this happen?
Its a normal reaction. Thats your defensive reaction to completely opening your heart to someone, warning you that if things go wrong you could be crushed. Happened to me.
I think yeah, its because you're scared of how much pain you could feel if things go wrong. That's the bad part of being so in love.
Love shouldn't scare you. It should make you feel at ease. The first time I stared into my lovers eyes and realized we were forever, it felt comfortable. It felt like always. It felt as if I had known him since birth and I knew I would know him in death.
Yeah with my ex and I realize that probably was my warning of things to come.
Totally normal. I'm the same with my boyfriend; its like when you look at them and take everything about them in, not just their looks but the face they make when they're concentrating, or their laugh, or the way they touch you, their smell, the look of peace on their face while they're asleep. You become infatuated with the essence of who they are. It's definitely scary and overwhelming, especially if you arent sure if they feel the same way. The best part is finding ways to channel that love so that you both grow together :)
are you scared of the committment or scared of losing him? I feel the same. Everybodu I think feels the same. I'm in a relationship now and somehow I am scared: Major heartbreak, s*** might happen....etc
