Is it normal to be shocked that almost everybody on this website does drugs?

It's true, there are a lot of polls were you have to pick your favorite drug, even illegal ones like cocaine and heroin, or how often you take it and A LOT of people choose the option of taking it daily. This is ridiculous man, I mean I've never even touched a cigarette and I hardly drink alchohol. Why is everybody on the website a drug addict even though these drugs are illegal and dangerous, and is it okay that I am really shocked by it? Next thing you know, I'll find out you're all a bunch of shoplifters or something similar...

      Same here. Well, in a manner of speaking. I do take medicine, but I don't abuse illegal drugs. I'm 28 and never even sipped a drop of alcohol

    I don't know what you've been reading on this site, but I don't do drugs and alot of people who regularly post here don't do drugs either.

    Well if you are looking in the drugs section then yer you are going to find people who take drugs.

    I guess it's kinda normal to be shocked by it (it would depend on how and where you grew up)....but to know that so many people use drugs and they're the people that you work with, your neighbors, etc then hopefully it would prompt you to rethink your attitudes on drugs and what you may have thought a "typical" drug user is.

    I smoke and ocassionally have a drink and when I was stupid taken marijuana but I don't do any illegal drugs now and would never do them.

    I dont infact I have only been drunk a few times and thats only when someone asks me to drink with them. Drugs etc arent really interesting.

    Everybody does drugs...just the hypocrites make some distintion between "illegal" and " legal" drugs which is all semantics...EVerybody does drugs....just some do them only a few times in their whole life and some do them everyday...so its a matter of degrees

    I don't really see it as normal because most of the world is on drugs. I bet plenty of you guys are on drugs too, and you know what? Tylenol is way worse for you than acid or shrooms. Birth control is worse for you than weed.

    I'm shocked people are up in arms against "drugs" that have only been made illegal in the past 50 years but they themselves are taking a daily dose of poison.

    because of the people that do drugs, there's a f"cking war in LA countries (Mexico). there's a lot of innocent people dying in mexico because of the drugs cartels, the ones that give you your mj.

    I think many people over exaggerate their consumption to sound "cool" or to shock someone. I enjoy pot every now but my physiology won't let me be an addict to most substances. I'm lucky. I think it is uncool to judge someone because of the decisions you make for yourself. You don't have to agree with them, but it doesn't make you better than them. Yes, a lot of people get stupid if they smoke a lot of pot. The reality is that they were probably stupid before.

    People have been doing drugs that are illegal today for thousands of years, although i do agree drugs like meth, crack, ice are terrible substances and its a good thing they are illegal, but most pure drugs like cannabis, mushrooms, morning glory have been proven to be very healthy for you, both psychologically and physically healthy for you. I bet you didn't know that pschycoactive mushrooms can cure cluster headaches!
