Is it normal to be shady when aloof?

Is my bf just the aloof type so I shouldnt worry when I feel suspicious or is he really being shady? Well I know he is the aloof type but I want to know if thats all it is or if because he is aloof, I have to watch out for him being shady. Urghhh he is so confusing and sometimes I hate that I love him. He can be distant because he doesn't know to express himself emotionally so when the time comes, he holds back or chokes. However, lately he's been improving but when he becomes distant, thats when I get suspicious.

Idk if hes being distant because every now and then he needs his space or because hes being shady and thinks he can just leave me hanging after spending time together. Also, idk if he holds back emotionally because he is aloof and is not used to being emotional or because he is being shady and just not interested in me. Another one, idk if hes aloof and just a private person when he chooses to not put me on display on social media or he is being shady because he ddoesn't want anyone to know he is taken and know about me. Idk if hes being aloof or shady when he tells me things like "dnt worry about it" or just keeps quiet. Its all these things that confuse me. I can straight up say hes being shady but he does have an aloof personality so these moments leave me to question how to feel about them.

We have been seeing each other for almost 2 yrs and been official for the last like 3 months. Like i said before, he has improved showing more love and emotion and if he was being shady, why would he go this far with me? But he could also just be "going with the flow" with me. As long as I'm here, he can do whatever he feels like doing. He just confuses me and irritates me and I'm tired of making excuses for him like just cause hes aloof its okay for him to do those things. Its not okay but when I confront him about it, he comes off as clueless like he has no idea he's been doing these things. He could possibly be unaware of all this cause he is aloof. What to believe, I have no idea.

    Not sure if his post is just confusing or if you're a little fuzzy on the meaning of "aloof".

    Seems the bottom line is you should dump him for someone that doesn't have these issues. If you're having sex with him that's probably the only thing keeping him around.

      I do have sex with him I mean he's my boyfriend and we're in a relationship so its okay if we're having sex, plus, its usually me who initiates the sex not him, therefore, he doesn't come off as he only wants sex. He likes being with me without the sex.

        No need to justify who you have sex with, that wasn't what I was getting at.

        However, I still stand by what before, if someone makes you uneasy you shouldn't be in a relationship with them.
