Is it normal to be obsessed with sweden?

For the past several years, I've found myself increasingly infatuated with everything Swedish, from the rather sensible (The environment, for example. I LOVE cold places. I dislike hot summers and I utterly detest warm winters.) to the cultural (Things like the uniquely pervasive availability of the option of being together alone), to the utterly pedantic (E.G. the thoughtful inclusion of an RFID chip in some identity documents carrying an electronic copy). Even the tax rates delight me for political reasons.
I've no idea if this is healthy, but I'm damn sure that if it continues, I'm going to end up contacting Migrationsverket.

That's funny. I was thinking about posting something similar. Obviously, you're a smarty pants, OP, so you know that the culture of any country isn't homogenized, but at the same time there's certain cultural norms and attitudes that you can be drawn to, over all. But yeah, I'm totally obsessed with another country that I haven't been to. I think it's really weird and not normal. Hahahaha.

Aside from the justice system I think Sweden is pretty cool, I'd live there but the language is baffling.

My friend always says, "Is that Sweden? I love Sweden! GO SWEDEN!"

my great grandfather was first from there. He was born there and came to USA in the early 1900's. he gave my grandparents (which i grew up with) lots of old saabs and volvos. it was alright, i guess 1/8 of my DNA and whatnot. But at present day the most exposure I get from Sweden is going to IKEA.. lol
