Is it normal to be obsessed with healthy food when you're a skinny dude?

I am in my late twenties. I am skinny as F but somewhat toned cause I exercise sometimes for better physiology and circulation. Not physique. I do not lift weights. I have an enormous appetite, and on weekdays when I am working I always eat 3 meals a day. But some days where I am at home all day I will barely eat anything all day. I can out eat any of my buddies, most chubby while a couple well built.

Last month me and buddies had a BBQ party. One dude brought some flavored chicken stuff to cook, another dude got some flavored meat that tasted great. I brought vegetables. Lol. I got teased and and I did not mind it and laughed along because I love barbecued zucchini, peppers and corncob.

Do not get me wrong, I am mad about pizza, chicken, fries, seafood, lamb chops and BBQ wings among other stuff. But I love eating healthy and there are days where if for example I had fried chicken for dinner, next morning I have a STRONG URGE to have breakfast that consists of fruits, or oatmeal or smoothies etc. Sometimes I eat healthy stuff even if I am not a fan of its taste! Like celery. Gross.

People have often told me I need to stop eating healthy and eat a lot more meats as if I am malnourished. What do you think?

Eating healthy isn't just about weight gain or loss. It's about, now sit down kids, it's about being healthy.

i agree with howaminotmyself. if you crave that stuff it's bcuz you need the vitamins regardless of weight. Don't get outta control and start gaining weight either. The older you are, the harder it will be to lose. It's about health before it's about weight.

Eating healthy should be something that everyone should strive for, regardless of how much they weigh. People's reactions to your diet and weight have been silly. They don't know what they are talking about. Ignore them and keep doing your thing.

Eating healthy doesn't mean eating burgers, pizza, and other junk food but also enjoying healthy food.
