Is it normal to be jinxed by the person you like?

I feel like my bf jinxes me a lot. I mean yeah because I'm pretty much in love with him, he makes me nervous and what doesn't help is he intimidates me. He's really smart and picky. But I guess he also feels strongly for me after being so patient with my clumsiness around him. Like seriously Ill be doing something when he's not around or even looking away and I did it fine. But when he's looking or he's just present, I mess everything up. I just come off like o can't do sh*t and it irritates me. Things like cooking or driving I'll get nervous and like mess something up. Is this normal? I told him he jinxes me but in a playful way and he just nodded. But at the end of the day, I was serious. He jinxes me. What do I do in this case by the way?

What you are describing isn't what I'd call jinxing, but more nervousness. Everybody gets nervous or intimidated around other people who they feel are superior to them.
Like the driving test person at the DMV, even though one has been driving for a long time, when it's time to do it in front of someone who one feels is superior (or powerful), we get nervous.
All you can do in this case, is realize that this guy thinks you are a pretty cool chick, or he wouldn't be with you. Therefore he doesn't think you are near as lame as you think yourself, so ease up on yourself.

Same with my girlfriend... Except we play games together at home, (Dead Island, CoD, ((Any)) just cause 2 ((We take turns)) and any other multi-player/ single-player games we have) and I'll probably do the same with the upcoming games as well... Specifically Fallout 4 (Total Fanboy) probably just cause 3, too. I'll accidently shoot a propane tank, or die by something stupid, etc. Although, Gypsy is right in this case.
