Is it normal to be irritated by the sound of someone clipping their fingernails

I get so irritated when I hear someone clipping their fingernails in a public place...like nails on a chalkboard! Is it just me or is that something that others think people should do in the privacy of their own home?

    Every one has a noise they freaken hate! I hate the sound of people dragging their feet when they walk.... damn it! I hate that!
