Is it normal to be intimidated by my girlfriend's brother and father?

Her father is like 55 and a personal trainer and he has a better body and larger muscles than me even though he's more than twice my age. Her uncle (her dad's older brother) owns a gym and is a fitness expert. Her brother is 6'4 and a professional athlete. All the men in her family seem to be super impressive. I just feel like I can't measure up and that I'm un-masculine and lame by comparison.

I understand how you feel. Building muscles and good physical appreance requires time and hard work. You could start right now and with time you will feel good about yourself.
Wish you a very healthy life ahead.

Don't feel bad. You being different is probably a breath of fresh air to this girl, and maybe one of things she likes about you.

It's completely okey to feel that way. I go to the gym and I even feel intimidated by strangers, who are better looking than I am, but at the same time you have to understand that everyone has their own body and it depends on what you want. If you want muscles - start doing something, but if you want muscles ONLY because others have them, then don't, it won't be a very good motivation. Muscles don't always mean healthy.
