Is it normal to be in love with your fwb and keep quiet so it stays that way?

A couple of years ago I met someone who I fell hard and fast for. They were't in a position to pursue them romantically, so I didn't push it and we became very good friends. He's one of my best friends in fact, we talk about everything and always enjoy each other's company. I've dated in between then and now, and so has he with his on-and-off-finally-done-forever-ex-girlfriend. However, I never stopped having intense feelings for him.

Recently, we started a sort of fwb arrangement. The last couple or so weeks have just been hanging out, watching movies, and cuddles on the couch with a little makeout sessions in between.

I'm afraid of rocking the boat, because I just want to enjoy what we have while I have it to enjoy. Is it normal to keep my feelings to myself like that? Is it deceitful not to be honest with him?

I guess you've completely missed the concept of FWB. It's not supposed to be some sneaky way to get a guy/gal to fall for you, it's supposed to be an uncomplicated way to get your rocks off.
Deceit is not something upon which to build a relationship, only a way to kill one.

I think its normal especially when its someone you have already fallen for. You never know, he might start falling for you esp as you are already doing things couples do. Maybe let him know as things progress. Use your womanly charms.

Of course it's deceitful, and you're likely the one that will get hurt the most. Have fun.

There's another very recent post about someone who fell in love with his FWB, and it hurt him. I suggest that you find and read his post.
