Is it normal to be dumb as hell but decent at math/programming

I'm really stupid with everyday life skills I'm not a genius at math or anything but I'd say I'm above average as a lot of people seem impressed with my math skills, I've taken up to calculus and discrete math, and they seem to think I am smart because I can program, but literally every other aspect of life I am practically retarded and have no common sense. IIN?

    Not unusual that your mathematical aptitude exceeds your common sense. Learn introductory accounting, hml/JavaScript, data structures, and SQL. Get a job as a coder. $80/hr should be no problem.

      Already done all that, gotten around a 3.5 GPA (did not apply myself fully), currently looking for anything preferably temporary that pays relocation to or near west coast

        Get your resume on-line. LinkedIn, Dice, etc are good. Server-side JavaScript, Node.js are in-demand. Create your own project. You need to hit the ground running the day you get hired.

            Ideally, a headhunter would know best. Make sure the web page has a form that updates a relational database on the server.

              Haha nice. Headhunter program, or actual headhunter? Am I dumb to think there are jobs that would pay my relocation expenses as a simple intern?

          Oh I do all the time. Recently totalled my car hitting a parked car; been in an unstable LDR for the past 5 years; last semester I stayed up til 6am studying for a final that was at 8am and missed it (luckily the prof was nice, I had a A+ in that class would've failed it but ended with a B). That's just recent stuff that comes to mind. And the only reason I even know this stuff is dumb is because I know other people would say so. Even telling you all this is probably pretty dumb
