I seem to have a condition which relates to the time of week. a certain illness which involves hot flushes and a high temperature which occurs on one day of the weekend. Any advice?

Well what was the diagnosis, if you've been diagnosed? You've just listed unusual symptoms.

Ah...yes, I once had something similar many years ago.
Funny thing was, there were no symptoms during the day, but come nighttime....phew
A weekly thing for me too, always on the same day

That's not a diagnosis, by the way, merely your own description of symptoms: a diagnosis would be a doctor naming the condition causing them.

What do you eat or drink or smoke at the weekend that you don't indulge in during the week? Shouldn't be too hard to work out

I tend to indulge in all of it on a certain day yes, and tbh its on that certain day that I get it, maybe they're linked?

I don't know why that "maybe" is in there: it's not rocket science! If you get certain results from specific substances and only when you put them in your body, the remedy is staring you in the face, you only have to decide whether or not the self-indulgence is worth the after effects.

You didn't learn anything about cause and effect in school?

Nothing really, no real sign of onset then, only on a Saturday usually
