Roommate's taking a vacation. Best friend's going to a resort. Family is thousands of miles away. Don't know acquaintances well enough to ask or spend it with them.
I usually dont care or feel so alone. Definitely never let it known, being a guy, but I feel a teensy bit depressed already =) [ =( ]
Well spend it alone...you can order a pizza buy a pie at the store (if you cant cook) eat it all...play some games and watch movies.
You can call your family to chat with them sometime during the day.
Make the most of your alone time and do things you like to do.

There are numerous places one can go and be with others in the same position at Thanksgiving. I'm sure the newspapers have lots of notices and places like a homeless shelter near you would love it if you would offer to help them out on Thanksgiving. You wouldn't be alone, you would be helping others and you might meet some really cool people who are also volunteering their Thanksgiving helping others. You never know, it could become an annual thing for you.
Same boat buddy! Roommate is gone. But I chose to make it a "me" day. I bought a thankgiving plattet yesterday and pigged out today. Be thankful for what you do have and just have fun:)
Get some KFC, Pumkin Pie and a Black Hooker and have the best thanks giving ever.
Not a holiday worth celebrating either way. I'd be more sad if I was alone on a random tuesday. Only thing special about Thanksgiving is that I get double pay.

Having a turkey sandwich in an empty house while you watch a football game kind of sucks. I've done it.
