Is it normal to be attracted to a sexist disgusting guy?

There is this new guy at work and his attitude is real disgusting...he's like a sexist pig. He's not conventionally good looking and he's even a major slob but he has this weird confidence. I over heard him talking with some guys and he said that women are only good for making sandwiches and making babies. That was a terribly rude and misogynistic thing to say even as a joke. But somehow I find myself attracted to him.

Maybe you share the defect that many women seem to have where they select men they view as broken under the delusion they can fix them? Or maybe you love making babies and sandwiches? I really don't have any way of knowing what attracts you to another person. But, in general, human attraction is as normal as it gets.

    • It doesn't make any sense why women choose men like that, it's like guys who have their shit together are "boring" or some shit.

It's like they're gonna save them or whatever. It's absolutely hilarious.

attraction can be hard to figure sometimes, i mean amiright? Obviously, hes rude, a slob and your typical alpha male, thats how alpha males get the attention and respect of their peers. You want to hate him so much that you are starting to become attracted like a magnet, im thinking that he likes you more than you like him and is doing everything right in grabbing "your" attention.

Perhaps maybe behind closed doors, hes a romantic sweetheart, a gentleman - blah blah blah. But i would bet good money that as soon as he's around his boys, his dad/brother(s)/cousin(s)/uncle(s) you would be placed so far in the backseat its like you don't even exist.

Confidence is attractive, but that should be where it ends.

Want to eat a high quality guy? They're as tasteless as a low calorie salad. Or, you can devour a tasty piece of masculine junk food. No wonder women want to totally fuck up their lives with slovenly jerks. They're indescribably delicious.

Normal? Yes, of course it is, even if it is not politically correct. Do not be worried about yourself - just be aware...
FYI the most common female sexual fantasy is *rape*, but it doesn't mean that women are f***ed up. After all, the vast majority of us can TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FANTASY AND REALITY.
So don't listen to people here telling you its "wrong". You can't really help who you are attracted to. And being who you naturally are cannot, by definition, be morally wrong.
BUT! keep this in fantasy land and stay the F away from him in real life! Know what's good for you.
    Hope it helps,
    Andreth

No it's not normal and you know what? When you get your ass abused physically and mentally I have no pity to give. That's all sexist assholes are good for.

Well, attracted in which way? Emotionally or sexually?

  • Why are you attracted to him if he's ugly and a rude pig? I'll admit I'm not the biggest "equality" fan in the world, but this guy sounds like a piece of shit. You gonna change him, save him?

Bet he cheats every chance he gets also.

To each his own or, I guess in this case, *her own.

this isn't suppose to be normal but i can relate to this. some people are so opposite that you can do nothing but feel attracted to them. is he good looking? there's this guy (friend's friend) who's extremely good looking but he talks dirty (sexual stuff, like for example "all you need is a good f*ck to put you back into place") and even though he doesn't really mean it, he only says it in situations when i annoy him or when our opinions clash. it's kind of hot.
