Why not just quit and find another job if the one you're at is too stressful?
You won't only be ending this one, but quite a few others. Why don't you just quit and do something else instead?
So change careers. Lots of people do it. It's much more important to work at something you enjoy than it is to make piles of money.
If you are as miserable as you sound, your health will suffer and your life will be much shorter than if you find something else to do with your life.
But if you get yourself sent to prison, you won't have to worry about housing or feeding yourself, that's true. However, if you don't like THAT after a bit of time, it's not like you can just say your sorry and get out.

Learn to live on a poverty level income. When you master that, you will have more options.
Well, if you go to prison, then you won't have to worry about the financial issues that come with being unemployed. You will have a roof over your head, three meals a day, and plenty of people to provide you with human companionship.
Ive been there in the past. Not to end a career, but as a way to get out of problems.
