Is it normal to be aroused by suffering caused by ignorance or religion?

For some reason I feel a rush of excitement or pleasure every time I hear about problems specifically caused by religion or ignorance. it's pretty hard to describe effectively so here a few examples:

- Someone dying after refusing medical treatment due to their beliefs
- Innocents suffering because of their family's ideological practices (children of vegan parents dying due to malnourishment etc.)
- People getting killed because they refused to believe in their community's traditions or god(s). (honor killings in India, etc.)
- People getting conned or exploited by priests, clerics or other people in a position of religious influence
- Religious organisations taking over a country and imposing their insane whims on the population (Iran etc.)
- Science being banned or books being burned in the name of religion
- Children being indoctrinated by religious people or school curriculums being modified to impose a religious agenda on the next generation. (creationists in the southern US states, etc.)
- Public policy being discreetly taken over or influenced by religious agendas. (US, etc.)

The strangest part is that I feel excited ONLY when the suffering is caused by religion or ignorance. Natural disasters or conflicts make me feel terrible like a normal person would. As for my personal beliefs, I am mostly agnostic.

Sorry for the huge wall of text but I felt like I needed to spell it out. It's such an unusual and specific obsession that I don't know what to do about it anymore. I also have no idea if it's linked to libido or something else.

Some people get aroused by unusual things. I am myself am one of those people. Don't feel ashamed of your arousal. Yeah; it's unusual, but as long as you aren't hurting anyone, then it should be fine.

I think you are confusing a rush of anger and frustration with sexual arousal.
