Is it normal to be annoyed when people use the word "teh" instead of "the"?

I am normally a pretty tolerant person. Yes, I'm a grammar Nazi, but I let a lot of Internet slang slide because I know it's a joke. What I absolutely can't stand, though, is when people say "teh" instead of "the"!! It sounds so childish and insincere! It's worse when you pair it with "kitteh"...
Is it normal to be really annoyed by this little word?

    I hate it when people put the letter Z after ever word.

    I used to type "Teh" instead of "the". Now when I see it, it really annoys me, myself. Also when people try to sound cute and be all "I iz eatz cookie!". Like what the fuck?! Ugh!

        Yeah, I'm realizing that. At first I battled with what they meant because they didnt specify....I have heard people say the teh before. but judging by all of the responses I realize that my statement is probably irrelivant.

    i accidentally type teh instead of the because i type fast and cant be bothered looking back through what i have typed. its just the internet after all and i like to spend my time actually caring about things that are important.

    THE ONLY TIME I USE THESE ARE WHEN I'M ROLEPLAYING AS A CHARACTER WHO SPEAKS LIKE A FUCKIN' TOON.

    MOST OF THE PEOPLE WHO USE THOSE ARE GIRLS WHO TRY TO BE CUTE. OR WAPANESE/WEEABOOS.

    Anyone a fan of the Asian persuasion, Japanophile, WHATEVER, tends to use those. Don't get me wrong I love anime, but bullfuck like that I simply CAN NOT STAND.

    I haven't seen anyone purposely type 'teh' in years. People seem to type 'dat' and 'dem' the most frequently.

    I don't really get why this would bother anyone though. Grammar nazis seem to be bothered by the most insignificant things.

    I always thought it was just a typing error and not deliberate. I'm not bothered by it, there's many more grammar errors that peeve me.

    Yes I think it is normal. A pet peeve for me is when people type things like "that is the ISH!" That bugs the sh*t out of me. (I type the word with an astric to take the place of the letter "i" simply because I don't want to violate any online site policy and it looks cute lol)

    I admit, sometimes I type "teh" by mistake. One thing I can't stand though is when people type like this: hangin out wid mi cuzin...........it gripes me something fierce.

    Yes! This is so annoying! Most abbreviations sound childish and insincere.

    It also, reminds me of laziness. Why use "teh" when the correct way is a simple switching of the letters?! This one girl called me a "disrespectful fuk". I still can't get over why she couldn't just spell it right!

    Everyone makes mistakes. I'm still a bit of a grammar nazi and lately, I tend to let those sort of things slide. But, I definitely agree with you. I also hate it when people spell cool "kool" instead. The list goes on!

      Just so you know for future reference though, spelling isn't grammar. A spelling mistake isn't a grammar error.

    I hate it. It doesn't even sound like 'the'. If you're gunna spell something wrong on purpose at least make it sound like the original word. And besides 'teh' sounds like slang for 12yr olds.
