Is it normal to be annoyed by high pitch feminine voices?

I'm gay myself but I sound like any average dude.
Not like a stereotypical gay guy with a feminine high pitch voice.

But one little thing that really pisses me off is those high pitch girly sounding voices, in girly girls and a lot of gay guys.
I know they're putting on a fake voice, since puberty doesn't change your voice from "normal" to a frikin high pitch chipmunk!
And when not in a crowed they sound more normal, and their voice isn't so cheery and high anymore.

It pisses me off because I know they're putting on that stupid fake voice and the sound is really unappealing and irritating to me.

Am I the only one who feels this way?

    I don't understand how anyone has that kinda voice, im like you, gay and with a normal voice, I just don't like it either.

      Yeah see I feel like they're putting it on to sound more attractive. But its the opposite to me, its really off putting and fake.

    I think that it is pretty stupid when gay guys talk with really girly voices or with a lisp. I mean your sexual orientation does not change your biology, and it seems very unlikely that every gay guy has a lisp. they are obviously just doing it to sound gay(btw I am NOT saying that they are doing this to sound stupid, I am actually saying that they are doing it in order to sound homosexual).

      Yeah exactly and it puts me off.
      Do they really think they can fool anyone with that voice?
      First of all it doesn't sound cute, and second of all they're a dude!
      Who are they trying to fool by putting on a girly voice?!

    I can't speak for gay males becos I think there putting on a fake voice when they talk like that but alot of girls just have higher pitched voices. In Japan a high pitched voice for a girl is considered very sexy. So cultural stuff may be at play in your experience. Sometimes when I answer the phone and they are calling for me they ask to talk to my mom cos they think I'm a child becos of my voice and I guess you'll have to take my word for it that I'm not putting on a fake voice thats just how I sound.

        Ppl do sound different in some situations. Your voice can change for many reasons its usually not drastic but that might account for some of what your hearing.
