Is it normal to be an old hippie grandma attending the woman's march

my kids and the older grandkids are a little worried about me going. And I am a little worried too that the police will beat us up. Or Trump might order them to shoot us like they did at kent state. I plan to be peaceful and classy and not cause trouble but I worry about other people.I feel like it is something I have to do. I fought too long and hard for my rights to go back 50 years. Is this selfish? Is this foolhardy? I hope not?

  • "And I am a little worried too that the police will beat us up. Or Trump might order them to shoot us like they did at kent state." Already sets a bit of a passive aggressive tone for the event, doesn't exactly come off as peaceful and classy, also a little sharp tongued for a hippie. Have fun though! Just remember to educate gently and leave flowers where you step.

Go for it! Too many young people are unconcerened about their human rights being abused. They need examples settimg by people old enough to know about the potential for financially powerful people ruining our lives.

Trump will probably put you all into concentration camps because he is literally Hitler.

I was going to try to say something positive and affirming, but after I read, "And I am a little worried too that the police will beat us up. Or Trump might order them to shoot us like they did at kent state", I resigned myself to the likelihood that you're just a stupid, leftwing, hater at worst, or a troll with poor punctuation and capitalization skills at best, so fuck you in the ass with no lube, bitch!

Fear is the most persuasive force to get anybody to do anything. So when you act out of fear, like of a tv reality star reversing 50 years of civil progress, keep in mind you are most likely being manipulated by somebody.

If anyone gets hurt, it'll be done by those who have been tricked into thinking Trump is the new Hitler. They will feel morally justified in hurting people.

I don't understand the women's march and all the brouhaha.he can't get rid of some things, that he has promised,it is against the constitution. The liberal media like to twist things to make him look bad. Donald trump is not like this in real life Sat next him at a party with my husband for several hours. You have nothing to worry about.

More power to you! I think you're brave to stand up and get out there!! I do think there's some possible danger in doing it. I'm on the fence about whether to go to the women's march in NYC. You seem braver than me

You'll probably be ok at his inauguration. It'll most likely be a couple months before the Fuhrer has dissenters shot.
