Is it normal to be a huge fan of a team, other than your hometown team?

i'm from NY, moved to FL when i was 15. started watching football when i was about 17 years old. and fell in love with the Philadelphia Eagles. now i'm a huge Eagles fan, but kind of feel guilty for not liking the Giants or Jets. and a little imbaressed to tell people who know i'm a new yorker, i'm an Eagles fan. is this normal?

understandable. Im from St Louis, yet the Rams have sucked since 2000.

    That's fine.

I have no true hometown football team - at least not professionally. I support the team a few cities over, even though they kinda suck.

My own hometown team was a college team and ... in all honesty I hate the college. Which is rather convenient since I've moved out... apparently the local college team is rivals with my hometown team. Since I already hate my hometown teams it should work out well. :-)

I hate my hometeam. Go against the tide. Just expect many heated sports debates haha

I should be a Manchester United supporter but I support a team from another city. Meanwhile, the majority of people from other cities support the team from my city.

It could be worse, you could be a Fremantle Docker supporter or, lord forbid, a Collingwood supporter o_0
