Is it normal to be a furry but to hate fursuits?

So, i'm a furry, i like anthro animals, OC's and stuff, i'm okay with mostly any kind of furry art that dont involve weird fetishes.

Last year i went to a furry convention and I saw quite a few of fursuits, people dressing up in their "OC's" acting childish ("playful") and talking silly when they are grown adults, also, some of them were kinda fat and spoke like Cool Cat with aids, not to mention some where crawling through the floor.

It's fucking weird, and i know the UGH FAT FURSUITER IS AN STEREOTYPE but even though, i find it quite weird, i dont know why wouldn't i just only wear a pair of ears with a stupid tail instead and act normal instead of acting like a kid with ADHD that thinks he's an actual dog

    I personally don't mind fursuits and actually want to get one eventually. It's your opinion though and no one should fault you for your opinion. From what I've seen of fursuiters is that it isn't always about the individual in the fursuit. A lot of people in fursuits do it because they like to make other people smile. While others do it to just roleplay as there fursona. I have only seen very few that do it because they actually think they are animals and those are otherkin which are weird even when compared to furries.
