By the way, in my latter years as an educator, I served as an administrator. I was summer school principal at my high school for several years. Often, kids might need 1 credit (senior English for example) to graduate. My first summer, I had a senior girl in my office that had been cutting school. We had very few options during summer school other than suspension as consequences. If I suspended this young lady, she would not graduate because of attendance requirements. She told me she would do "anything" to not get suspended. I said, 'Anything?" and she replied, "Anything!" She graduated! I'm not saying WHY she didn't get suspended! You'll just have to guess!

It's still illegal. If the kid is 17+ then it might be okay for a 20-29 year old. But people under that still don't have their brains developed, even at 17+, but at that age they have a basic understanding of sex. It's creepy for a 30+ year old to creep on people that haven't even developed yet
It's illegal because it's illegal. Sex between races was illegal fifty years ago, and makes as little sense. For almost all of human history if you were over 14 you could make your own decisions, and that was the normal age for marriage. It's only in the last few years in the US that that has changed.
