they taste different than the other colors and I think its the dye. they use real spray paint not the edible stuff because it has a chemical taste

By the way, too much chocolate can be dangerous for dogs as it contains substances that can be regarded poisonous to dogs. You might want to think about telling your mum to stop feeding your dog MnMs.
So do you have no arms that you can't throw them away yourself? In the rubbish, by the way, apart from the danger of giving chocolate to dogs, why give your dog something you won't eat yourself because of contamination?

Chocolate has trace amounts of bromide which is poisonous for dogs. Bromide in moderate amounts does not hurt humans. Trace amounts get in chocolate from spraying cocoa pods with bromide pesticides.
