Is it normal to act like this to deter my daughters boyfriend

He's a low life pig, no respect for authority so I thought I'd do this:

Piss myself in front of him
Lie on the floor of my daughters bedroom when he's due to come over so they'll find me
Wander around the back yard in my underwear and loafers with a watering hose
Cry at the dinner table if he comes over to eat

He's currently working for my brothers factory in the town over (which I manage) I also tail gate him to and from work if I'm behind him. Just trying to scare this little invalid

    Don't think it'll work. Could do the opposite. Could distance your daughter from you and more into his arms.

    Doing that stuff isn't going to keep them apart, it's only going to make your daughter resent you.

    This won't keep them apart at all . The only thing you will accomplish is a reputation for being a weirdo , suspicion of needing professional help for possibly mental illness and a hatred from your daughter and possibly son in law one day you wouldn't believe . I think you should take the adult approach and communicate with her , make sure she has good relationship values and let her make her own choices and learn by her mistakes if he really is that terrible . I think as long as he isn't abusing her ... she will grow up eventually as I do hope you will also . I don't know why you are so wrapped up in her relationship , it's a bit strange since she will love who her heart falls for and not who you choose as if she is some video game .

    From my experience with teens, the best course of action would be to 'love' the guy. Treat him like a king and just gush whenever he's around.If your kid isn't a total idiot, then she probably knows he's a loser, but keeps him around to piss you off. If you like him, then she'll dump him and find someone else, possibly more to your liking.

    While those actions from the outside looking in are comical it isn't for your daughter. You are going to push her away and cause resentment.

    I think you done enough now.
    You must be a manager on your mothers side of the family.If that boy has any sense he can keep that job for life. Especially if he's recording you being such a jackass.He has enough on you to get a pay rise, promotion and more time off to bang your daughter.That's if he has a brain.
