Is it normal this doesn't count as rejection

If I'm a lesbian and I've been rejected by straight girls or girls who aren't 100% sure.. (Mostly on the straight side)does it really count as a proper rejection?

No, it doesn't count at all. 14

Whether someone says it "counts" or not... your feelings and emotions are valid. Don't let anyone tell you you shouldn't feel a certain way. If it hurts, it hurts. Getting shot down by other women isn't fun, and asking them in the first place is scary. Believe me, I know.

It doesn't count as a rejection. I mean, it hurts your feelings and all, but isn't your fault that they don't want you, so you shouldn't take it personally.

It would disappoint you since you like the person but you can't take it too personally.

    Yes it still counts.

Just because you're female doesn't mean you're exempt from "no means no".

I don't think it counts. It may be rejection, but not in the same way.

Why are you hitting on straight women?

  • Are you a big, nasty, butch lesbian? How much facial hair do you have? These are all things that factor into the final decision on this question.
