Is it normal this coffee shop felt extremely spooky to me?

I went to this coffee shop today and it felt really...spooky. I felt some really intense negative energy in there. It's kind of hard to explain exactly what I mean. But...yikes! I did NOT like it in there 1 bit.

Does Stephen King have coffee there? That may explain it.

If you read what scientists have stated about how humans have evolved over thousands and millions of years you might understand the connection. Early man had to compete with other animals over food and territory. They developed a sense of danger even if they could not see it yet. It is one of the very traits that kept us alive, and made us more dangerous than any animal on earth. All of us still have that natural instinct...some more than others.

I don't believe in paranormal activity. I'd be willing to spend the night alone in a house that's said to be haunted.

I don't know about spiritual feeling, but, did stop at a diner about 2 hours from home while on the road for work one day, walked in, sat at the counter, and the counter woman gave me such a suspicious, almost as if saying "You shouldn't be here" look. Was odd.

I ate and kept to myself, but couldn't shake the feeling that I was being watched from all sides (still think I was). When I got up to pay the cute, young, long-nailed cashier up front, the counter woman didn't even thank me. Just took my plate and coffee mug and turned around. I paid the cute cashier and wanted to ask her..What's the deal with this place? Don't like new customers? But, held off. Did compliment her beautiful nails, though. Gave me my change and I told her "Thanks. Nice nails, by the way".

I've driven past the diner since, but won't stop in again. Food was average at best anyway.

Mmm, i consider myself a kind of spiritual person and i can say i've definitely been in negative spaces before. The kind of places your fight or flight activates without a threat your 5 senses can detect even thought it's a completely normal setting? Alternatively the kind of places where you can...feel darkness, idk really know how to explain that very well?
Maybe it's just a feeling you can't explain but know? Eitherway i sure know what you mean and yeah, some places definitely feel like that. I remember one time i was in a castle and felt like that, felt forboding yet logically i knew i was in no danger. Was too afraid to look behind myself and some rooms felt isolated, like that room was all the world consisted of...safe to say i won't ever go back there.

Maybe someone died a horrible death there a long time ago? Or maybe it wasn't that long ago?

My sister is a realtor, there was this awesome house that looked like a steal, and my mom really wanted to go see it, but my sister had this feeling that she didn't wanna see the house, much less show it to anyone. Well, after a little a research my sister found out some crazy, old bastard killed his wife and had been keep her body in the house for like three years.

    Shit happens!
