Is it normal they can still tell?

I walk around with a backwards baseball cap, jogging pants, and socks with sandals in order to convince people that I'm straight, but somehow, they can still tell I'm gay. I don't believe it's in my walk or anything, and my shirts are generic graphic tees with nothing too specific or anything, but everyone still knows I'm gay and I was called a "faggot" by someone earlier. Like, wtf? I was just waiting for the pedestrian signal to change, dude!

Just ignore it and be yourself. Unless you live in a super conservative area and that would endanger yourself. At that point, I would consider moving.

Having terrible fashion sense does not make you straight.

Idk where you're from but I have my doubts you were called a faggot for just standing there anywhere in any western country.

But it is probably the way you talk. Its usually a dead giveaway. Gay people do this slur when they talk.

Are backwards baseball caps and jogging pants considered to be stereootypes of gay fashion? When I read that description I thought of a Slav in a tracksuit squatting near the curb

I think people still give you a hard time because people have problems, it's not you.

It's probably your whole demeanour, dude, tbh. Not a lot you can do about it apart from shrug it off or call them something back.
