    Very few ppl would disagree about the significance of chromosomes.
    At the same time science does not prohibit or have any say in if a person with a penis likes to and wears dresses and otherwise participates in 'girly' behavior and thus feels more comfortable calling themselves a girl.
    I think anyone can agree that there are many things that can technically be done by both sexes that are referred to as 'girl'. The science is irrelevant as far as the words a person uses to describe themselves outside a doctors office and some other exceptions.

      But you're right, what you claim about science is true as well. I'm just saying one does not invalidate the other, the word is used for a different meaning.

        i just saw a friend of mine ( a girl) on social media and she said on her bio : i prefer he/him pronouns and it triggered me

          It can rly be annoying especially with someone you know, and if it feels politically motivated. There is a difference between people who have or wish to have surgeries and take hormones and people like your friend. But it really is their choice.
