Is it normal the interesting posts get deleted

Is it normal all the interesting posts seem to get deleted before I get a chance to read them? I find interesting titles but keep getting the 404 page before I've had a chance to read them. But what is left is stuff like "is it normal to smell my finger after its been in my butt" or "is it normal I got abducted by aliens and we got drunk, smoked a bong, and watched tv".

I mean some of this stuff that is deleted is probably trolls, but some might be people looking for help or answers to something. I guess if your post gets deleted its the mods saying it's not normal.

Anyone else? Do you notice a lot of posts you click on just go to a 404 page?

    The ones that are on the list are in the mod que waiting to be reviewed, so some of them might come back, normally a couple do. Most don't, but from what I've seen, most are troll nonsense . If they get approved they go back to the top of the list.

    Sometimes I see a post there that I am sure will be approved and it gets deleted. Sometimes I see one I'm sure will get deleted, and it gets approved. Some are really hard to call. But most of the time, the ones I guess will be approved and not approved go the way I guessed.

    Lately, posts are only being reviewed only Mon and Thurs. So the posts sit there waiting for days. When it gets approved and goes back to the top, it's been so long I think a lot of people don't even realize it's the same post from the other day. I also notice people sometimes delete their own posts when they get flagged. That's unfortunate because some of them I think would be approved if they waited.

    I click a lot of 404 posts but I do suspect many are trolls , I am not naïve enough to think none of them are genuine though . I see some title's that seem very legit but we don't know what was typed inside so we won't know if it should have been deleted or not unfortunately .
