Is it normal the episode i think about during the day plays the same night?

So whenever I think about an episode of Family guy during the day, it ends up playing that same night; never fails, and I'm like "Wtf?"

This is now happening with American Dad.

Is this normal?

    reruns air in a particular order, you unconsciously memorized it

    basically youre watching too much tv

    I've had something similar happen to me. I pretty much never consciously watched MacGyver, only came upon it channel surfing every once in a blue moon through the years; and yet, three or four times when I did, it was the exact same episode (he was fighting some big guy in a warehouse while a boxing match played on a TV set nearby). I still have no explanation for it.
