Is it normal that while playing truth or dare i tell tge 'real' truth?

Whenever we play truth or dare, I choose truth most of the time because my friends become real as**oles during the time.
While I know many people don't tell the real truth (you can easily tell if your friend is lying) I tell the truth no matter how embarrassing or private it is. IIN?

    Why not be honest and tell the truth???? If you know they are lying then you should know what the real answer is anyway.
