Is it normal that when i notice that guys like my girlfriend i help them get 1?

I have this attitude where I try to be as nice as possible no matter what. Sometimes when I hear other guys talking it seems to anger them when guys like their girlfriend. I react differently when other guys like my girlfriend, intead of reacting aggressively I help them get a girlfriend so that they will leave mine alone. Is it normal that I behave this way? Oh and no I don't tolerate flirting with my girlfriend I established she's off limits (so does she).

This is actually a pretty damn good approach I think. Instead of being that douche that get's all "alpha male defensive" and tries to fight the guy or tell em to fuck off, you try to avoid any conflict all together and distract them from your girl with another girl.

Like half-shock says though. Nothing wrong with other dudes taking a gander. You got something they wish they did so that should make you and her feel good. But if they get a little too carried away, simply help em nab a beauty of their own like you say you like to do. I think it's pretty solid.

The thing about that is I don't even feel insecure, I'm just not 100% okay with other guys likening my girl and that's usually the easier way to deal with it

What's wrong with other guys noticing your girlfriend? When that happens to mine I'm proud that they think my gf is hot and she gets a nice little self esteem boost when they try to flirt with her. Simply put it makes me think "My gf is gorgeous and she chose me over you".

Other guys reacting aggressively in this situation is definitely insecurity, but that's not the only way someone can be insecure in a relationship, it's just the most obvious.

Um. It sounds like an alpha-male behaviour to be. A tad bit manipulative but I think it all depends on your effort.

It would make sense my dad has an alpha male complex (like he was diagnosed with it as a young child)
