Is it normal that when i like a group i don't want others to like it too?

Specificaly, about kpop groups but in general too. When I like a group a lot like I'm obsessed with it and I find a girl from school in facebook that posts a lot for them and photos and "oh I love him I want to marry him" and all these silly stuff I get kind of pissed off.. It's annoying.. I don't know. But when it's a friend that likes the group I don't mind at all! Because if it's a friend she won't post for them all over her facebook and talk about them all the time. It's kind of immature. But I also feel immature for saying this... anyway it's how I feel :)

    My theory: You feel strong emotions for something unreachable and you want it to be yours only. By seeing others loving it (even though their emotions are shallowish) you have to face the fact that it is not a mutual relationship between you and the pop band. You realise that you are only one in a million, however, you have a lot of sweet memories about the band and feel it is something unique and meaningful. (Actually, it still is and nobody can take that away with stupid Facebook entries!)

    It's annoying to see something you deeply appreciate and resonate with being reduced by other people who appreciate it for shallow reasons, yes. It's something best ignored though.

    This explains how I feel and so do you probably.
    Also, what K-Pop groups are you referring to exactly? Just curious.

        Oh I love EXO and SHINee! I can agree that a lot of Exotics are very annoying especially saesang fans but I've met some really nice K-Pop fans so you shouldn't forget that there are normal fans too ^^

    Sounds normal enough.
    You don't want people you don't like to like the same stuff you like. Because you fear to be associated with those people when you talk about the stuff you like.
