Ever since I was about 12, I’ve been turned on my gory/violent horror movies. All through my teenage years I would have sexual fantasies about being brutally murdered and even now I’m still turned on my the thought of my boyfriend slitting my throat or snapping my neck. I know it’s not exactly common but are there more people who feel the same way?

Yeah, I get really turned on in movie scenes where people are completely terrified and being killed. It's called sadomasochism.

I'd wager it's coming from the fact that girls like dangerous men who are strong and in control.
Although I wouldn't say it's normal, and there might be a deeper issue hidden there, but as long as you don't harm anyone (including yourself), I would have no issue with you pursuing it. Just make sure your bf is also ok with stuff like this.
These guys truly don't know how lucky they are to have girls like you as their partners.
