    Going down, giving head etc. sounds much more... 'appetising', for want of a better word.

      I don't like these "eating" metaphors either. But I'm also not that crazy about your suggestions (going down, giving head).

      The neutral, official and dry term "oral sex" is better, to my mind, than any of the above.
