Is it normal that this show possibly saved our relationship?

So if you have watched Entourage you'll know what I'm talking about. It's so weird and ironic how the show kind of ended about love and relationship at the same time, my bf and I are questioning our relationship. All the stuff that was going on was relateable like things aren't working out because one is not ready for a relationship and only wants a partner on their terms, or Ari's wife wanted space but Ari couldn't let that happen and in the end they stayed together, And Vince gets married to his love of his life suddenly. Like all the quotes they were saying were awkward watching with my bf because it was about the same thing we were going through like "awkward, we're in the middle of breaking up or not." In the end though, me and my bf had a good time and besides the show, nothing else was awkward. I seriously thought the show was going to end our relationship or at least separate us more, but he was being more intimate with me and he's the one who wants to break up with me. Regardless, I feel like the show was just throwing major signs at us, the quotes were just too real to just pass by and way too much of a coincidence that of all times, we ended up watching the end of the series at the same time we're in the middle of all this.

Sounds to me like things went a little too fast, and/or maybe one is being too clingy? I think some people think just because you their significant other wants space, that is a sign of the end, and it scares them, not realising its a normal part of a relationship and by not giving them their space when they really feel they need it, they are driving them away.
