Is it normal that there is a guy in my class who have never masturbated?

There is this guy in my class who says he has never masturbated, and he claims to de a muslim....i dont know if that has anything to do with it. Or are muslims not allowed to do that? Is it the same for girls too? Man i dont know much about islam to be sure if he is lying or telling the truth. He is like 22 years old...and i mean its hard to believe that when he doesnt have gf or wife.

    Not sure how to approach this... there's the "obviously lying" path, then there's the Theology lesson path... How about both!

    He's more than likely lying. Just talking to someone about it is treading a fine line, so if it could be proved either way, I'd put money on "He's lying."

    For males* it's a sin to spill his seed with no intent of reproduction with his wife. This applies to Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. The rules for women can be a bit fuzzier, but since women aren't considered the equal of men, at least from a scripture perspective, it's sort of up in the air. Women are considered to be weak (not necessarily physically) and prone to sin without the guidance of a husband.
