Is it normal that there is a big height difference between me and my love?

I'll keep it simple.
I love a girl very much, very dearly. She loves me too very dearly.

BUT there is a big height difference between me and her. I'm 6'5 and she is 4'10.

We love each other very much, but it breaks our heart that we cant take it forward because it will look funny in public and we get conscious.

It really hurts to feel that people will keep staring and not let us live a normal life. :'(.

    I'm 5 feet and my boyfriend of a year and a half is 6'7. You shouldn't be embarrassed, him and I have learned to make a joke out of it haha :) something like height difference should not matter for two people who are in love, or want to be together :) Yes, it is normal!

    I know it isn't quit as big a difference as you but I am 5ft 1 and my husband is 6ft 4, we are a very happy couple. Height shouldn't matter, if other people have a problem then it's there problem not yours, just be happy :)

    I knew a couple who were almost as far apart as you two (five foot dead, and six six). It did look strange at first but in the end it was just cute.

    I would refuse NOT to live a normal life (whatever that is anyway) - I think some people are always going to try to make others as miserable as they are ~ Dont let them. Next time people are staring ... give them something to stare at ;)

    who cares if people stare, point or make jokes its your life who shouldnt care about how it looks u should just do wot u want to do despite wot others think if u realy love eachother u wont care uinless ur ashamed of her being smaller
