Is it normal that the world is always messed up?
I know we had ww2, ww1, nasty terrible wars and civil issues, but has everyone who ever lived experienced the same stress or worse than we have today?
People are becoming openly passionate about certain topics but they keep it black/white. Issues keep popping up, from feminism to gun rights to everything. I try to stay in the middle to try to solve these issues, but of course the sensible person is ignored.
I feel sorry for the average white male, the individual constantly cussed about even though he never owned slaves, is only doing what he can to survive the rat race, as anyone should do, but is brought down by double standards.
We're tipping the political scales too quickly and we're only given the bottom of the candidate bag.
Nobody knows when to shut up but there are more people to have to shut up because that's what giving rights is all about- to try to make them shut up but they keep wanting more. (Not true equality rights like MLK stuff, more like 'I have the right to marry my goat' kind of stuff)
Everyone just wants to be hateful to something but they don't need to be so loud about it.
Important issues, like worldwide hunger, child labor, assisting third world countries, human trafficking in glossed over countries are replaced with our petty conversations about how WE'RE the slaves to the system.
Can't we all just get along, or has the world always been screwed? Is it better to mask outside problems with a happy face or to redirect our passion to petty issues? Am I experiencing more stress than it's worth?
