Is it normal that the whole iphone vs android debate annoys me?

I have a hard time understanding why some people care so much about the android vs iPhone debate. I have had friends try to get me to switch my phone type and argue about the benefits which seem extremely minuscule in actual importance. Also, I have come across youtube videos where people legitimately seem to think that someone who prefers a different phone type to be an idiot.

I understand that people create divisions over nothing, but I wanted to see who else was bothered by this particular division over phones. It doesn't keep me awake at night, but it annoys me whenever I happen to come across it. So, is it normal for me raise a brow to this?
