Is it normal that the only men that i'm attracted to are all fictional?

I'm a 21 year old woman and real life men have never exactly caught my interest romantically or sexually. It's weird.

I even dated a guy whom was a great friend for a little bit. He was what many would consider conventionally attractive too, but those looks didn't do much for me. I tried convincing myself that I should be attracted to him because he was a cool guy, but no romantic/sexual feeling grew. I felt really bad.

On the other hand, male characters from anime or video games catch my interest greatly. I find myself reading fanfiction about them too. If they were real, they would certainly be both dateable and doable in my eyes.

I feel like there is something wrong with me.

    This is normal and their is nothing wrong with you. It's your personal preference at the end of the day. Fictional characters are made as eye candy for people to be automatically attractive to them. These companies would never make an ugly looking fictional character on purpose, because good looks sell.

    Too emotionally/sexually immature to have adjusted the focus to humans. Got to start fixing that at 21 yo.

    Normal, I am sure the fictional men you read about have far more character depth and than most real men could ever have. Good relationships with men are rare and in most cases, you as the woman will lose. Focus on your success in life as an individual and PLEASE ignore anyone who tries to tell you that your lack of interest in men is abnormal.
