Is it normal that sometimes when someone has a different opinion than me, i...?

Like for example if people dislike a certain celebrity that I like, I get kind of mad/dissapointed inside and almost immediately start searching Google to find comments on other pages/forums/etc. from others who share my opinion. It's like, I absolutely must be sure that there are other's out there who share my opinion. Like for example I like Jimmy Fallon and I'm aware that some others dislike him so what I would do is type into Google statements about him that I want to hear/ I agree with in quotation marks. (when you put something in quotes, Google will show pages that have those exact words on them). I honestly can't help it no matter how hard I try.... I MUST know that there are others out there who agree with me. When I know this, I feel relieved. IIN?

Sounds normal to me even though I'm quite the opposite.
I love people who disagree with me.
    I love a challenge &/or an argument...

When I started at my place of work there was one guy who was a total asshole to everyone. No'one liked him & the feeling was mutual.

We got into a few very heated disagreements (coming close to blows at times) & eventually became close friends.
He disliked the fact he would tell people to "fuck off" & they would do it & respected someone who actually stood up to him.

My boss is actually similar & will walk all over quiet people who have worked for him for 15 years but respect someone who challenges him after working there for a short while.

    Anyway, I'm getting off topic...
